After returning to Canada from South Africa, Pastor Steve Lagore sensed that God would use him to plant a church in the Edmonton area. Steve graduated from Temple Bible College and responded to Godís call to full time ministry in 1990, after having served in lay ministry for sixteen years.

In 2005, after ministering for thirteen years as a music minister the doors opened for a church planting initiative.  An amazing core group of believers met at ďthe ClubĒ at Southgate on Friday, February 4th, 2005 at 8:00pm and unanimously voted to plant a new church assembly.

With the encouragement and support of S.A.M. Ministries, Crossroads Christian Assembly was incorporated on April 14th, 2005 and was registered with Canada Revenue Agency as a charitable entity on June 1, 2005.

Crossroads Christian Assembly, sponsored by Richfield Christian Fellowship, also began itís affiliation with the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies in 2005. Richfield Christian Fellowship, being Pastor Steveís home church, also ordained him on September 12, 1993.

Crossroads celebrated it's first anniversary in the spring of 2006 and saw the average Sunday A.M. service attendance grow from 35 adults and 10 children to approximately 90 adults and 20 children. We look forward with anticipation to Godís provision and power as we serve him together as a local church.

Crossroads Christian Assembly has been called to meet the needs of people who are at the crossroads of life, physically and or spiritually. CCA is a multi-cultural congregation that has been called to minister to people with a diversity of backgrounds which have met at the crossroads, and are looking for spiritual fulfillment and direction in life: people who are tired of religion and looking for a real relationship with God.
